Founded in 1926 by members of "The Amity Club," Woodholme Country Club emerged as a haven for social and athletic pursuits. Initially, a humble 9-hole golf course, it expanded to boast an 18-hole masterpiece by 1930. Over the years, economic challenges were met with resilience, leading to the construction of the iconic Clubhouse in 1949.
The club continued to flourish, adding amenities such as the Snack Shop, wading pool, and tennis courts. A major addition in 1973 further enhanced the club's offerings. Fast forward to April 1, 1993, when the reimagined Clubhouse seamlessly blended classical elegance with modern comforts.
Today, Woodholme stands proud with its championship golf course, host to numerous tournaments. Fifteen tennis courts, an Olympic-sized pool, and philanthropic endeavors underscore the club's commitment to members and the broader community. Woodholme Country Club remains a timeless retreat, weaving a legacy of excellence and community engagement.
